Why do you do a burnout like that instead of just using a line lock?

Line lock stopped working the day before..... I dont think I did enough of a burnout on either pass.

 

Sick! Congrats car is moving out.

 

Thats insane! I can only dream of my car doing that someday.

 

Part of that is because we really didn't expect 177 mph first time out and it had its toung hanging out at 900-1000' We new after the first pass of 800' it needed more gear. wish we had a 9" LOL

 

Awesome car and great run! I still love the video of the exhaust with flames coming out of them!

I think it was a lean pop.
It was like 40* out and we run it lean anyways.

Plugs looked fine and we pumped the motor and it was fine also.

 

I believe it was just a lean pop. it does it on a couple runs but the plugs look good and it only does it real high in the rpm on a 1/4 mile run. only other tim e i have saw it in the log was a low timming lean event. on the graph it does not effect rpm or rate of accell.

 

Lol thats weird. I guess if the plugs look good and the logs are good leter eat rite
