Default I think i made a boo boo....tell me what you think

When i rebuilt the engine i was unsure if i would run nitrous or not. well i ended up putting nitrous on the car, a 150 shot. when i rebuilt the car i used the Fel-Pro Head Gasket 9966PT and from what i have been reading there are a lot of people who run the 1076 fel pro. i have found some MINOR traces of a blown head gasket as i took off the intake today. I will be removing the heads tomorrow so i will keep you posted. last time at the track i had a dead miss on my last sprayed run so im thinking ive got a blown gasket.

only in the valve cover and pcv valve so far. i havent drained the oil yet, but no milkyness on the dipstick.

i was also wondering if i put forged internals in and im still only gonna be running a 150 shot if i should gap the rings for nitrous.....

Why did you take the intake off to begin with?

Why not run those gaskets, people have been running a stock gasket for a longtime and using more nitrous than that?

Why not drain the oil first before you pull anything to determine if you have a milkshake or not?

Couldnt this have been condensation inside the motor? I found I had some after letting my motor sit for a long time. Pulled the cover and seen it was milky. Drained the oil and it looked fine. Hasnt done it since I started driving it.

Yep, that can happen. Also, if you take a car on a real quick drive, water will collect in the oil cap and valve covers. Warm the engine well and it will go away.
