Default Stand alone fuel or off the rail?

Ive got a cammed ls1 with cam patriot stg2 heads and nos daves wet kit, gonna give to 150shot. Will it get enough fuel off of the rail adapter in the kit or should i put stand alone fuel system for the nos? My first fuel injected nos setup so just wondering thanks.

You should at least have In-Tank Walbro 255 fuel pump for that 150 shot if you wanna go off the fuel rail. Your fuel injectors duty cycle shouldn't be high to be enough for your N/A power. If not you need to upgrade those injectors and fine tuning your car N/A, then you can start spraying off the rail. Actually most people here are doing it as many LS kits was designed like that.

Anything above 150 .. I think a stand alone with higher octane will be more insurance

If the fuel system is stock then you won't have enough fueling for the 150hp shot with you having the cam and heads.

This is what i'd suggest getting if you decide to upgrade 05-FPWH-001 99'-02' F-body Hotwire Harness $60.00 and 05-FPA-001 99'+ F-body Fuel Pump Assembly $150.00. This combo will get you fueling capable of supporting around 630rwhp.
