"old nitrous"?
I have a friend who has had nitrous he bought holesale about 2 years ago. He has two cylenders that are 10"s in diamater and 4.5 feet tall. I was considering offering him some cash for atleast one of them They should last me almost all year I would think.
Is there any downside or problem with nitrous that has been in a larger cylender for a few years?

Industry recommendation for industrial use of high purity nitrous is 5 years. For shooting it into a combustion engine, you could easily double that shelf life. N2O doesn't break down. The only concern from a purity standpoint is impurities and moisture will leech out from the cylinder wall over time. But we're talking about in the part per million range. Not going to matter in an automotive application. Go ahead and buy the stuff.
Interesting, I was wondering the same thing because of local mustang guys that have thrown this around like it was serious stuff to be concerned about
