Default Bottle Opener

I am looking into purchasing a bottle opener for my N.O.S. kit. N.O.S. sells two kinds, one looks like a window motor style device that mounts to the bottle valve handle and the other a solenoid looking style that mounts after the bottle valve. (I have a -4 line and 10lb bottle)

Which style gives the best results or is the most reliable? There is about a $100 price difference between the 2.
Anyother brand or style (I know NX, ZEX, Nitro Outlet... sells these) recommended?

Thanks

Stay away from the inline openers. I suggest getting an openr that bolts on to the bottle valve.

Of course I am partial to the Nitrous Outlet one because its......Awesome...lol

I've been pleased with my NOS on-bottle opener, about 3 years in use now with zero issues. Their design is clever, uses current sensing to determine when the bottle is closed (when to stop cranking shut) and gives a brief current spike when opening for that initial oomph to crack it open, this according to their tech line.

It appears that NX/Nitrous Outlet updated their design to get away from the old clutch adjustment headache with the Next Gen product. Their new stuff probably works equally as well as the NOS strategy and looks to be more of a universal fit (fit all brand bottle valves).

Define the term legal, I think nitrous is the least of my worries

Sounds like the on the **** opener is the way to go. I am probably going to look a used piece since the almost $300 price tag is kind of high right now and I plan on getting one soon so I can put it in while the car is still apart.

Thanks for the help
