Running TR6's on my truck with a 75 shot on stock timing. Should be fine on a 100 shot.

I would run a TR7 throw the TR6s away. You need the BR7EF

No reason not to double check gaps on plugs. Doesn't take much to have one off. It takes very little time so always verify the gap. Might save you some expensive parts.

This tune had to have been radically far off for a 100hp worth of nitrous to burn off a strap. Have you taken a look at the entire tune? I would not spray again if you have not.

I use to lean on tr6's hard back in the day and never lost a strap on one. Circa 99-00 hundreds if not thousands of guys used that plug with 150 hits on stock tunes.

My uncles cousins sisters fathers brother sprayed a 500 shot on tr55's all the time with no problem.

The link I posted was written by Mike Thermos no one in this thread or on this site has more knowledge about nitrous then him. Now if you still want to use projected tip plugs for your nitrous motor then well your just dumb.

Not what I said... But close to what I was trying to get across.

Here is a sound bite:

Plugs a cheap, motors are not.

Default Plugs

Put the BR7EF plug in it. This plug is Non-projected tip. The TR6s are projected tip as u see in those pics. I used to run the TR6s but went with BR7Ef and it runs great with a non projected tip which on the spray can keep the blow torch from melting or damaging a piston. Runs just as good with the cooler plug and have a little piece of mind when you are spraying it. IMO !

Read this article.

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/docs/te...de_Affects.pdf

My black car went a best of 10.00 on the 100 shot with 6's. I found this from NGK saying to go one heat range colder for every additional 75hp of spray. With the only change being made, I put in the br7ef. My 100 shot went a new best of 9.89 in the quarter.

tr6 are good up to 75hp shot
br7ef are good up to a 150 shot
