I went with ATV's advice and went from 10's a/f with the suggested jet chart to 11.8. I would have gone a little bit more to 12.2 but I ran out of tuning time. This was spraying only 200 on a 2010 Camaro.

According to the jet chart I should be using a 46 fuel jet for a 200 shot but I am down to a 33 at 11.8 a/f. Maybe it is because I am using a dedicated fuel tank and the pressure does not drop.

I just hooked up a kit on the Silverado and will be seeking help dialing it in. I will be posting pics of the plugs for help with timing and fuel.

Well, if i can get some more jets, i will lower the fuel, i do have a larger nitrous jet, so i guess that could work just as well as more fuel?

But, i swapped from a Vic Jr with a 4 hole 2 inch spacer that is like a HVH i made, car went 7.1 all motor, put the super vic on, no spacer, it went 7.2 and lost a MPH from 96 to 95, then i hit it with the gas and she went 7.0 at 101, LOL. The Centerforce DFX clutch cannot handle the nitrous!

Just make 1 change at a time, timing, then fuel, moving timing back could make it leaner if you have to much lead in it. Same as having not enough timing, motor will use the most fuel with the correct amount of lead. If u have marked the timing mark yourself there, it is def. a little over advanced but not much. But you have to chop it at wot to get a clear view.

I heard they make a tool for viewing the fuel ring as well so you dont have to cut the plug if you wish.

Yep they do, just kind of pricey for my blood. I would like to try one tho someday. It just seems like it wouldn't give a very clear picture of what is going on?

Pull enough timing to keep it real safe, get the fuel mixture as close as you can, then gradually add back in timing as needed.

when reading plugs at the track i know obviously reading all 8 plugs is best, but would i be risking too much if i were to say read cyl 1 and cyl 8? hoping to head to the track in the next few weeks and plan to spray a 200 shot and want to make sure everything is good since i have had a habit in the past of not checking my plugs lol.

Definitely risky to start with on the 200 pills. You need to pull all 8 to start with then once you find you're hottest two cylinders then you can get away with only pulling those two while fine tuning. When starting from scratch however i would pull all 8.

12.8 -13.0. here. Whatever afr your car makes the best power on motor. A lil more fuel on stock bottoms 12.0-12.5.

Here's a nice plug reader.

Never really looked at it this way until lately but this statement is very true. The part about more fuel for SBE cars however I have not heard but definitely something to look into.
