Default Nitrous + FI?

I guess i could've posted this in the FI section? But i thought some of you nitrous experts would have some input as well.

A guy locally has a powerdyne s/c that has been rebuilt and i can pick it up dirt cheap. I thought about running 5-6psi and spraying on top of that with a 75-100 shot? Is this possible or is it a disaster waiting to happen? What about tuning and timing?

Question

Sounds kool.

Is there an advantage to some boost+some N2O VS lots of N2O?

Should keep everything cooler plus adding power. I know plenty of people that do it

750rwhp on a stock shortblock eh? What other mods or upgrades does he have for that to be reliable?

Its not.

That setup can work very well. The tuning is not all that hard as it would seem at first. It just needs to be very conservative at the start and progressed slowly. Always taking into account that the quality of gas may change and also to make sure IAT's are taken into account for hot summer days.

Nitrous works like a liquid intercooler, drastic lowering of IAT's and big power can be had with very small shots.

Make sure you communicate well with your tuner. Make sure he feel's up to the task. Let him know what your looking for out of the setup and that your willing to take the time to make it right.

100 shot under boost is serious.
Probably would want to start at 50 hp and work up if needed.... I bet a 50 shot makes 100 or more under boost.
