If you are running stock heads, then the Texas Giant probably won't work for you. The exhaust duration is WAY too much for stock heads.

No.

That cam is WAY too big. Not a little too big, a LOT too big. Auto or M6?

Why did you want a dry system?

I have an A4, idk i heard that the fuel doesn't do too well in the intake for ls1 cars, something about it not atomizizing?(sp) well .... and i'm only running a 100 shot so it's not anything serious compared to what i read about other people doing on stock motors

Just to give you an idea, you would probably want a 5000 converter for that cam in a 347.

We have done consistent hits of 300hp worth through the front of an EFI intake with our plates. The tuning is much simpler. That's why I asked. Just curious as to why you went that route.

well honestly i got a good deal on the system and read how the MAF adjusts as needed so i fugured tuning would'nt be that bad, what is a good cam .. i have the gm hot cam now i think it's 525 lift and i want something more aggresive... the ms3 and giant don't seem to be TOO much different

There is a huge difference in those two cams. The Texas Giant .248/.254 compared to the ms3 .237/.242. You can't just look at the lift when it comes to purchasing a cam. With the Texas Giant, the valves will stay open too long, and you will be slaming the piston into the valves.

oh okay, is the .248 numbers the duration?... I think that i'll go w/ the ms3 then lol, i don't want to bother the motor too much

.248 is the intake duration, and .254 is the exhaust duration.

Go with a MS3 cam. I rocked that in my old set up cam only it went 10.99 NA in a 3768lb car thats me in the car.
4l60e 3500 stall. With a set of patriot stg3 heads. The ms3 loves the juice to.
Do not go with the ms4.
