The 10 lbs bottle fits very well in the spare tire compartment. If you don't mind not having a spare.

Your choices are kind of limited. In the spare tire compartment, if you don't mind not having a spare or jack in the car (where I have mine), in the hatch where the t-tops go, if you don't mind losing that storage space as well as a place to put your t-tops, or it can be put between the rear seats. Think that's about it.

I stuck mine on the drive shaft tunnel between where the rear seats used to be. No need for a remote opener or remote gauge. It actually blends in pretty nice with the interior when the bottle blanket is on it.

I have mine behind the passenger seat as well with the gauge facing me. Easy to turn on, easy to refill and easy to see bottle pressure. I don't have back seats, tho...

Texas FRC - That is a sweet looking set up, especially with the TNT bottles and that sweet bracket. I considered doing mine in that spot after first seeing you pics a few months ago. I opted to keep mine hidden though and also to keep some weight over the right rear.

Texas-FRC....

I bought that setup from you. I got so many compliments on it! It made things very easy. Open the bottle, check pressure, switch the bottle heater, etc....

Between the back seats is THE best place for nitrous.

the rear seat mount looks good!

only problem is i've got a convertible and afraid some scumbag is going to steal it.

what's the chance of it blowing up from being exposed to constant sunlight when the top is down and car parked?

As long as you run a safety rupture valve you won't have a problem with explosions or anything like that. I use a bottle blanket and the car can sit in the sun all day closed up and the pressure has never gotten above 1500psi. It's also pretty hard to steal the bottle without tools.

See my master locks? They're tough little suckers.

Also, just keep a blanket on the bottle and you shouldn't have any problems.
