75 Shot on Top of 425hp
I would just go ahead and get another tune, No reason to blow a motor up over some chump change (what you will consider it if you blow you motor).
I know plenty of people that have got by without a problem, but plenty more that didn't.
Would you add a turbo/blower right now on 4# without a retune?

Some timing puller devices like the harris interface can also control A/F ratios and allow for a dry plate or dry direct port if you want to run those. This device costs $190, shops local to me charge $450 for a full tune, around $150-$200 for basic changes. Each to his own but I'd take the puller.

Iirc also there is no puller that you can actually check to see if its pulling, if it doesn't pull on a 150 hit because of a malfunction... Could be looking for a rotting assembly.
I'm not sure if timing pulls can be measured with the MSD timing twister, maybe someone else can chime in on their experience with that device. I do know timing pulls can be measured with the harris speedworks interface.
The image below is from the harris speedworks website, an hptuners scantool shows timing being pulled:

If you plan to run a lot on motor, the timing tuner becomes a more attractive option. Since your already not satisfied pulling a little more out of it to occasionally spray sounds unattractive in your case.
The lingenfelter box ( Should be available in June.)pulls timing on the fly and can also be seen in datalogs. It is a very nice unit. We also use quite often so Chris especially is good about helping with any wiring or tech you might need.
If you have any other questions let me know.
Its the best one out there. And if you look at it like any other mod, its pretty well worth it depending on the horsepower loss.
Say you run a 150-200hp shot on your H/C car. If you pull 9* out, you may lose 15-25 horsepower. 15-25hp for less than 300$ is not a bad deal.
Again, all depends on the setup, the driver, and the goals of the car.
