always something...kit issues AGAIN.
Had the car at the strip again tonight for some nitrous passes.
first pass...nothing except fuel was activated...FAIL
I still had the top nut loose on the noid, tightend it down
second pass...rolled through the 60ft and FINNALLY had the whole kit kick on, felt decent but still only running 99mph
After a bit of thinking we started going over the logs and noticed AFR was 11.2. well we decided to just drop a fuel jet down(.35-.31) and see what happens.
third pass... pulled 101mph but still runing 11.8 AFR so we finnally got some improvment. But we only had one more jet down (.28). But we decided we found the issue to be with the nitrous solenoid not opening all the way or malfuntioning in some way so no need to push my luck chasing a number that isnt really relevant since the kit isnt right. Ive honestly had nothing but problems out of my kit
Obviously im going to have to take the nitrous solenoid apart, but what should I look for as far as what might be the issue. I taked to HSW about the coil being bad but they told me it would cost more to test the coil then to replace the whole solenoid....
The car went 7.5xs at 91 on motor for reference. Spin fest today.

I bought my noids as a pair from HSW for $90 shipped if I remember correctly. So approximatly $45 each. Not much room to "repair" a noid when a new one costs so little.
