Default Nitrous Outlet 93-97 LT1 Specific Systems or Total Package

Would it be better to run the "Total Package" or the LT1 Specific with the Mallory 685?

Also, will the Racetronix fuel pump (255lph) support the added power?

I'm not really sure what you are referring to as the "Total Package", but the Mallory 685 is a great box to use to pull timing for nitrous on an LT1.

And the 255lph pump will support quite a bit. Are you wanting a wet or dry kit? And how much do you plan to spray?

Like stated above how much are you wanting to spray? I've sprayed my lt1 150 with a 255lph and it supported fine. Now I'm running my second stage off the 255 with stock injectors and my direct port off a deticated fuel system from nitrous outlet.

I spoke with Dave from Nitrous Outlet and he advised a Wet plate set up. Right now I am going to run a 150 shot, but I plan to increase that shot in the spring. Nitrous Outlet has a Total package (follow the link below) but I've read that all you would need is their Lt1 kit with a Mallory box. Is it worth it to spend the extra 600 for the total kit?

The total package ofcourse has every little thing you need to get the job done. It's their high tech kit. You will be fine with just the lt1 plate kit with mallory timing box and either br7ef plugs or tr6 plugs by ngk.

You can buy your total Package kit piece by piece it will just cost you a little more. I would of corse get a window switch with the basic plate kit with the Mallory box

The total package does not really get replaced by a Mallory. The total package has things like the plugs, bottle pressure gauge, purge, etc. All the things you would want for a safe and effective system.

If you want to make sure you have everything or are just not sure of what all you need, the total package is a great deal. There are not any "filler" parts in the package, everything in it is very useful and worth having.

and BTW the 685 has the window switch...the 685 is a good box and is a bit cheaper than say the MSD digital 6, but it is a larger box and can be a bit more difficult to find a good mounting spot that will still allow for good airflow to keep the box cool. Lots of folks will mount the 685 inside the car for these reasons.
