Default 4.070 6.0 block

I'm building a 6.0 for my regular cab or my vette, havnt decided what to put the motor in yet.

Anyway I've run across a set of 4.070 pistons and I'm tempted to pick them up but I've got a question before hand.

My question is would a 377 work with nitrous? I'll be using 317 heads and would like to mill them but with th pistons being +3cc dome I dot know how that will work.

Thanks in advance
Steven

How much are you spraying if you don't mind me asking? Also would I be able to mill my 317 to up the compression?

Good for 300-400. It's just a guess but if your 317's are stock chamber and you have a +3cc dome you are still under 10.5:1. Mill them .030 if you have enough PTV. Should be close to 11:1. If you have the right ring gap no reason a 300 shot won't work with the right tune up.

Yes my heads are stock. Ill jump on the pistons and rods deal and get the short block together so I can find out about milling the heads. I don't know if I want to spray 300 but if it can handle it why not.

I greatly appreciate the info and help.

Thanks again

Do you think the cylinder walls would be thin?
