Default Reassurance on nitrous lol

With my car having 11:1 static compression I have been throwing around the nitrous idea in my head (along with others doing it for me lol). I spoke with Chris@NitroDaves via PM (great guy, quick answers) and he linked me all the products necessary for a full kit with safety features.

I just need to know if there is anything else I need to make sure that I don't screw my motor up. The car/motor has 42,000 miles on it and I'm the first person to do any motor modifications to it (bought the car with 30k on the clock and mods were done within 6 months of owning it lol).

This is what's done to the motor/suspension:

LS6 Intake
Texas Speed PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads w/ PRC dual springs .650 lift milled to 61cc
Patriot 7.4 hardened push rods
Patriot 225/229 .580/.590 114+4 LSA Cam
LS2 Timing Chain
Ported, Polished and bump stop modded stock throttle body
SLP Lid
ARH 1x7/8" LT's
ARH 3" ORY
TSP Rumbler Catback
Spec Stage 2+ clutch

Moser 12 bolt with 4.10 gears
Moser Differential Cover
PST 3.5" Aluminum Drive Shaft
KYB AGX Struts and Shocks
Strano Springs
Suspension Techniques Swaybars (1 3/8th in. Front, 1 in. Rear) with Poly Bushings and Endlinks
UMI Adjustable Lower Control Arms
UMI Lower Control Relocation Brackets
UMI TA Relocation Kit
UMI Adjustable Torque Arm
UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar
Midwest Chassis Driveshaft safety loop

With 275/40/17 Nitto NT05R's I've done 12.2 @ 117mph with a 1.8 60ft on heavy knock off wheels. I have Racestar dragstars 15x10 and 15x3.75 wheels with Hoosier 27x11.5x15 and 26x4.5x15 tires which I haven't gone back on yet.

This is what Chris linked me:

edit: I haven't decided on what size shot I want to do. I know I want at least a 100 shot but not sure I want a 150 shot.

Put the jet to it. No reason you can not run a 100hp-150hp shot range.

Well what I really need to know is if there is anything else safety wise that I can add to make sure I don't blow up the motor lol

I'm definitely going the nitrous route as long as I know safety is there.

I would for sure. The quality and customer service from Lingenfelter is great.

It also allows you to verify that the timing is pulled with any tuning software.

Btw, your friend is right.

Actually now that I think about it, BR7 plugs are the ones you recommend running with nitrous correct?

you know me and spray man lol. Last car was a 2 stage 400 shot, I love the stuff. But going boost now, and probably a small shot to help that little motor spool that monster.

Yeah but your a little crazy Paul

Graham or anyone does the window switch enable me to lock out certain gears from spraying? I don't want to spray first right away, would prefer to get used to it before hand lol

Not certain gears, but our window switch has a built in gear lockout. It will lockout first gear or whatever gear you start in until is see's a shift.
