Help with nitrous plugs
For a friend, much help appreciative::
Circle track build.
355
high compression 12:1
Running race gas
decent cam around .550 lift
750 demon race carb
and 200 shot of nitrous
esitimated hp @ 500-550
What type of plug should he use at about 32* of timing
not much known about the motor except he had autolite AP 103's
Wants to switch to NGK.
Would the TR-5 be any good ?
Thanks to the experienced ones!

You can go on Autolite site and find the cross reference for the AP103 then go 2 or 3 steps colder in the NGK
I'm no expert here but looking at the cross reference for an AP103 it is stock # 3344 in an NGK BP7EFVX I would call NGK and talk to them for something 2 or 3 step colder.
One tip here is that as the numbers go up in NGK plugs the plug gets colder
