Default Stall and nitrous.

I am going to post this in the N20 section as well as the Auto tranny section.
I have a 226/228 cam and nearly everyother bolt on. I also have a set of stage 1.5 heads from a company no one has heard of. (Air Flow Technolgy)
I make peak power at 6200.
On top of this I spray a 150 wet shot.
I have no tranny in the car right now and this upcoming week it will be going back in. I have a 3500 stall and a 4200 stall both from Yank and dont know which would give me better track numbers.
Which would you guys run for best results?
Thanks

4200 Yank for sure. More efficient stall too. Your only worry is to "HOOK". So Traction mods next.

I would say 3500 for sure with a 150 shot or bigger.

I just took out a TCS 4200 stall because it was too much convertor with nitrous.

I was thinking the same thing. The 4200 will be to much of a stall for a 150 shot.
Tracction is not a problem, as I am one of the few who acturally did the traction part before the overkill power part. I have full suspension minus a K member, and I run 26x10x15 drag slicks. I have ran 1.4 60's already with a 3200 Vig converter on the juice. I will probally do the 3500 looks like 4200 will be too big.

If you are going to be spraying the nitrous out of the hole, you need to remember that the nitrous will bring the stall of the converter up. I have 5500 stall converter in my car with a transbrake. With the 300 shot of nitrous, that 5500 becomes 6900. The nitrous makes for a big Torque spike. Just remember that when choosing your converter.

I would say use the 3500 if you plan on spray it, the 4200 may end up being too big with all the extra torque its gonna raise your stall.

I called Yank and talked about nitrous and convertor choices. The convertor i ordered is the SS4000 and Mike told me it will take a 150 shot no problem.
So i think it matters which convertors you have . What are they? we know the stall ratings(3500/4200) but which ones are they?
