A guy that bracket races will need at least 2 10 lb nitrous bottles for a day of racing. Correct me if I'm wrong but that means he also needs 2 nano bottles. One would need to buy the 3000 (way too hard to get 4500 fills around here) Sport kit plus an extra bottle. Around $600 or a bit more, right? Would anything else be needed? How difficult to swap the extra bottle into the clamps and swap the hose? Maybe better to have 2 hoses?

Never used nano but surely it last more than one nitrous bottle? If so I don't see why u can't just swap nitrous bottles.

It is very simple to swap NANO bottles. The black on/off that the hose attach's to is a simple hand tight valve. It is simply unscrewed and placed onto the other bottle. Yes for a bracket racer depending on number of runs and passes it would be a good idea. You would need a complete Sport kit and spare NANO bottle depending on if either of your bottle valves have gauge ports.

It is a 1 to 1 ratio. There are other benfits for the system besides pressure and full bottle.

nano works good. When I had nawwzzz on my car on the dyno you could see the shot/power was consistent throughout the entire pull and back to back pulls. Best way to describe nano if you are out street racing or at the track and one of those pesky turbo cars or big motor car wants to keep running you there will be no more waiting for that bottle to get up to pressure

My bottles will be Nitrous Outlet, they're directly compatible with Nano so I only need a Universal kit and a spare bottle. Whats my cost on that?

How many 10 lb nitrous bottles will one nano bottle support before you have to refill?

1 to 1 ratio with the nitrous bottle. You are able to use 9/10#'s in the nitrous bottle.

So just to be clear, when my 10 lb nitrous bottle is empty, I'll have to fill my nano bottle too?

Correct. It usually costs $2-8 per fill. Scuba and paintball shops fill them.

A nano setup really doesn't cost much more than a good heater but you dont have to wait around for it to get up to temp. and you get consistent temp. throughout the run. A local paintball shop filled my 3000psi bottle for $3.

Workins great in the winter, but sucks in the summertime. Once it hits 80 or above be prepared to have ice packs on hand to put on the bottle to get the pressure down. I sold my nano 3000 kit before i ever had to refill the nano cause I simply couldnt use it in the summertime.

Above 85+ degrees you do need to cool the bottle. If you are at the track ice works great, or the chiller pads we send with the systems work good unless it is very hot.

Usually any full nitrous bottle in 85+ temps will need to be in the shade or chilled, especially if it is inside of the car in the sun. We have been sending most systems out now with a little less pressure on the static side to help with this.
