Timing tuner? Was about to buy a MSD window switch when I saw that the timing tuner also advertises control of some nitrous parameters. can anyone answer these questions:
1. Will the timing tuner function as a window switch, or only activate the nitrous circuit?
2. Can I use this to retard timing while on the spray without screwing up my dyno-tuned program that is used for n/a driving?

I'll try.
Both.... It will activate the nitrous working as a window switch. You set when it comes on and when it turns off (the Timing Tuner with the old firmware will only let you pick from 2 RPM values to turn off, the new firmware lets you pick any value).

Ok, I have posted this before......so here goes again. If you have access to LS1 Edit, you can adjust the PE vs. RPM table at high load to lower the timing. Typically somewhere around 0.800 load value and above, for nitrous simply lower the timing from where your MSD turns on and off (typically 3000 - 6400 rpm). It is pretty cool to see how it works on the tap files.
