7.82 @ 178mph Went out to try a new tighter converter today.
Looks like the tranny is letting go, slipping pretty bad in the upper rpms.
Anyway here is what slip looked like ....

Thanks everyone, not really what we were looking for but its a new best 1/4 mile time none the less.
I could tell something wasnt right in the car and you can see the tranny slip on the graph.
Even the numbers on the timeslip dont add up.
1.19 60' and 145+mph in the 1/8th should be a mid to low 4.9 pass.
Looks like in the upper rpm it was slipping bad and when I shifted it started pulling again, then slipping top of high gear also.
Not many changes for next year, just hope to get out early and race the whole season.
I think that will help us more than any big changes we could make.

Good job guys, at your power level a slipping tranny is nothing like a slipping tranny in a 600-700 car. I'm sure it's hurting you guys even more...

145mph in the 1/8th is flying!! Just from looking at your 1/8 mile times vs Smith's it seems his are in the .9X more vs your .0X range more, whats the difference, 60ft, more aggressive tune, better tracks, car weight? I have never ran at your et so I dont know what it takes to change a .05 or a .10. So who and when do you think will break 200mph in the 1/4 with a nitrous LSX f body?
