Awesome run! So you're launching on pretty much a 90 shot and progressing to a 250 in 3 seconds?

That would of been a low 9.30 pass if the valve wouldn't of melted.

It was on a hell of a pass! That is for sure. Yeah If I get too crazy out of the hole on the
nitrous then my sig picture will happen haha

Its running damn good for being 376 cubes. There are guys with stroker motors trying to get where you are at.

Its went 145+mph several times too. Thanks man. Sadly saying I already have the nitrous stuff off and going to a turbo. I am selling my custom cam out of this motor though that will work well for the next guy in line.

What made you decide to go turbo? I just came from that side of the line, wanted to try nitrous out. I figure I can always go back if I wanted too.

Nice pass! What do you think melted the valve? 250 on that motor doesn't seem to be leaning on it to me. What was your timing?

Also interested in why the valve got smoked? Fuel pressure dropped? Lean spike?

To be honest, it sounds like you had detonation ALL the way down the track. Did the piston/rings survive?

sounded like more then a melted valve to me as well. sounded like other parts came with it?

have you taken motor apart totaly yet?

Yea motor is fine except the valve. It never did smoke after this happened. I am changing the pistons in it anyways. I did hit the limiter going into 2nd. As of now thats the only thing I can think of that would have caused this. Oh well part of racing.
