X3... the top shows it just put the strawish color on the strap it needs to peel that off to get a timing mark. I would say its a hair lean but it might just be not enough run time to show the fuel . the plug could also be to cold but again id like to see a full run before telling you to switch. I would go up 1 fuel jet and make at least 1/8 mile pass or 5-6 ish seconds of pull on a highway.

OP and 10sec z28, what heads do you all have on the car?
I am seeing that you do have a #7 heat range plug but that is a gasket seat style plug and all LS heads have a tapered seat style plug.
Unless you have AFR's or something you are not telling us.
I can see they are r5671a-7's. We run #9's in our AFR headed SBC 406.

We made some more pulls last night. This was our first pull, 7 - 8 seconds 20 degrees of timing
This is the second pull we did. We added 2 degrees. 7 to 8 second pull. We had trouble reading the plug so we wiped the cad. Off with a T shirt so we could see better. The white on the tip would not come off and when viewed from the side we could clearly see the heat.

Atv that is the nuber 7 plug, na base for his tune is 28 degrees I have worked my way to 24 degrees of timing which is where it is now, I started at 20 and it showed no heat, then 22 and the plug above was 24 degrees, this is on 93 octane.

You will start to see heat on the tip first, then it will work it's way down te strap with added timing. It won't color at the bend and skip the tip. Looks to me like you need more fuel, I'd work on the fuel side now and then see what the timing looks like and adjust as needed.

You don't happen to have a wideband for reference?
