Re: Educate me on the TNT PPE Would it be easier on the tranny if a window switch was used? To shut off the juice just before shift points. How much et would be lost by doing it this way? I already have the kit installed & just waiting for a day at the track. I estimate race weight to be 3100 now, so I should be good for at least a 10.5-6 with a 150 shot? I am looking for a good cam that will help nitrous, but also would see good gains off the bottle.

You guys are at a crossroads here! I major fork in the road with your buildups. You have to decide if you want to go to the next level with your mods, and E.T.s. If you want a reliable 10 second Fbody you have to change the drive train. Tranny, and rear. This unfortunatly will slow you down allittle on the motor, but it will allow you to acheive much more with your power adder. I tried to do it with my 10 bolt 4L60E combo and it was very inconsistant, and I wasnt having fun. I was so worried everytime I went to the track that I was gonna blow something up.
Now with the new trans, and rear I drive to the track and dont worry about drivetrain failuers. I say if you want to start running, and campaigning a 10 or 9 second car, then start saving your money now for a trans, and rear!

Re: Educate me on the TNT PPE I know that once I put the juice on I'll have to get the tranny replaced and then the rear. I'll probably be traveling a little south from here Andy seeing that you guys have done this sort of thing alot lately <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> If I do decide to stay on the spray(probably once I feel the hit) I'll need a new converter which I will probably do a little experimenting with another manufacturer(nothing wrong with Yank) so we'll see <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
