Can I use my purge solenoid as an alternative solenoid?

I have a Compucar that is leaking at the fitting, I switched fittings, & that does not seem to help. I am going to get some liquid teflon & try that, but the purge solenoid looks the same. Can I switch that to run on the nitrous side? Thanks.

check the model numbers, on the NOS 5177 the nitrous noid and the purge noids are the same and can be swapped, on the compucar kit it may be different, but if they look the same, Im pretty sure they are. hope this helps.
