Default Bottle presure question

Say your bottle heater doesn't quite get your bottle warm enuf in time and you're only at 800psi with a 100 shot. Would this be like running a 75 shot or a lesser shot with less bottle pressure? You would just be using less nitrous right?

Not really since its a small shot. Your bottle pressure won't drop too far with a small shot compared to something like a 200 shot.

Could you explain more? I'm not really sure what you're saying.

IMO, yes your at a lesser hp gain since your jetting is most likely at rated at 950psi. What he is saying you don't have to fight bottle pressure at lower jettings since your not spraying as much, which wasn't your question, lol.

Cool thanks. So if you're on a 100 shot at 800psi instead of 900 psi you will use less nitrous also right?

You may or may not use less nitrous. Hard to tell. But at 800 psi nitrous is more of a liquid than a gas. But it is not a liquid. So more of a liquid state.

Plus since your jetting is setup for higher psi, your tune in turn will be richer than before.

Your airfuel is dialed in according to the flowing pressure of the nitrous and fuel. At 800 psi odds are the nitrous is not flowing consistant and less volume. Therefore the car will go rich and nose over in power. Doing this for a long period of time could eventually lead to a problem.
