Should I stay with my B1 Cam with my nitrous setup?
Mike the 114 lsa on the B1 should work great. Lift and duration are right in the ballpark for nitrous. All I can say is hang on.
i have to agree with the above. i've heard the others on this board talk about how a nitrous specific cam isnt' really necessary until you get up in the higher HP shots. you're almost to the point of that theory, but i'd rather have the better n/a cam with the NOS as a booster than doing a NOS specific cam in your motor. i don't know what difference in HP/TQ or times a change would make though.

This winter I will be installing my new TNT wet kit on a nitrous ready stock cubic inch short block. I will be swapping over my MTI Stage II heads and LS6 intake. I will be spending the majority of the nitrous runs between the 150-200 shots. Do you guys think my B1 cam will do the job, or do you recommend a different cam, if so give me some ideas. Lift, Duration, LSA, etc.
Thanks guys. I wanted to stay with the B1 so it looks like I will for sure now! <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
In that range of nitrous going to a specific nitrous cam won't get you much, if anything, on the bottle and only hurt your N/A output. The B1 is a good choice, I'd stick with that. If you're determined to change cams keep the 222 intake duration and add som exhaust duration and alittle lift, and maybe consider a slightly longer LSA (116?)
I think it will work out great for you. I have the T1 and a TNT 150 wet shot...
She went over 500 RWHP with the stock heads. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
I think you'll be very pleased!
