Default Fuel System for 600rwhp

What all would someone NEED to live safely around 600rwhp in a daily driven LS1?

Are 42#ers and a Walbro 340M intank pump too small?

So which pump do you recommend?

How about the Aeromotive fuel pump that goes in the line. The one that is like $290 or so out of Jeg's?

the external aeromotive??

maybe. depends on the boost you run.

at 60 psi, base no boost, it should handle 800 or so Flywheel

at 70, 10 psi of boost, that drops to about 670 flywheel.

depending on the drivetrain, that's on the limit of 600 rwhp. but that also depends on home much voltage you can get to the pump.

If 600 rwhp is the goal, step up one level on the pump and not worry.

I'm considering the big mother pump, -12AN feed and outlet

we shall see in a few months though

problem is the boost raising the fuel pressure. pump flow drops with increased pressure.

the 340 is only good for about 60 gal/hr at 70 psi, w/ 13.5 volts on it.

i have to boost mine to 16V to get enough out of it for now.

I am going to be installing a Vortech-ish fuel system in the very near future.

Two T-rex pumps in parallel with a -8 feed for each pump from the sump. -8 line exiting the pumps into a Y-block and then -10 to the front of the car where it will Y again and -8 into both of the rails.

I will be running a -6 return system with a Vortech Super FMU.

I am hoping that this setup will take care of all of my fuel needs now and in the future...and it should be streetable to boot!

How about the ARE twin intank 340's?
They are supposed to flow enough for 900-1000 hp.

Harlan the Kenne Belle boost a pump puts out 17 volts to mine.....and you can vary it as well...have it increase voltage only after 3.5psi etc...I may sell mine soon tho as I dont think I need it...I'm trying to copy your setup

I think it's around $500-$600, but you get the two pumps installed with wiring harness and relays and it's supposed to drop right in.
