Just got a 5177 kit....got a couple questions
I got the kit used for $350 from a friend and it came with the FPSS and WOT switch...but it looks like he left out the blow down tube. I plan on buying a Mallory window switch, and a purge kit. The NOS kit is a 6AN line right? Nitrous works has a purge kit for like $72...think I might get that. What plug wires do you all recommend? I plan on running 100 shot on the car...mods are in the sig. My friend has autotap but I don't have a laptop so not too sure how I am going to hook it up to my ride.

you don't need new wires, just get a set of NGK TR-6 plugs and gap them between .038 and .040 and start sprayin' <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" /> <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" /> <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
A couple more questions...Is there a disadvantage to running single nozzle opposed to dual nozzle? I plan on running single nozzle into the pipe just before the MAF. Should I point the nozzle toward or away from the MAF?
A single is fine. Don't spray the charge directly into the MAF or damage to it will likely occur. Spray it to the side (into the wall of the MAF sensor) or towards the front of the car.
The NOS 05177 kit comes with -4AN lines, which if fine for the power levels the solenoids will support. The Nitrous works purge kit is actually a bit over $90 - so if you can get it for $72 snag one quick. No problem with the single jet, you will need new jets obviously. Like colonel said, don't spray straight into the MAF, aim the nozzle back into the air box. Stock plug wires are fine, but get a set NGK TR6 plugs.
Dont need a blow down tube unless you go to the track and the tech cares. TR6's are the plugs you need. 4an line is good to about a 200 HP shot and is also what comes with the 5177 kit. My single nozzle kit spraying directly at the MAF hits way harder than my dual nozzle ever did. Get the fan spray nozzle (dry) from NOS. I think its about $12. I poked mine up through the air filter and its about 8 inches in front of the MAF. My O2's are still rich.
