Its an electrical problem. I have the TNT F1 wet kit witha MSD window switch. Every 8 or so hours, my battery is dead??!! Ive had this problem since I installed the setup. I know its the N2O because I had it all off for warrenty work and it never died (sat for 2 weeks). I have everything wired per TNTs instructions. Sw. 12v to arm switch, ground to switch, from switch to WOT switch then to relay pin #86. Direct hot to relay pin # 30. Relay pin 87 to noids. And the yellow lead off the MSD window sw. to pin 85.
The window switch is wired, white to tach, red to battery hot, black to ground and yellow to relay.
This is the whole setup. If I had a scanner, Id scan to diagram. Somehow Im getting a 9 volt draw. When I unhooked all the hots from the battery I hooked my meter (reading volts) to the hot terminal of the battery and the ground to the window switch hot and Im reading 9 volts. This means that Im getting a ground somewhere?! Volts needs a ground to read. I get the same result if I hook it to the hot for the relay.
Now why would I get a reading between the two? It should be dead. Right? Im so confused right now. I power when and where I shouldnt. Any ideas? Someone send TNT my way here. I couldnt get their site for the email. *sigh*

you have the msd window switch hooked up to the battery don't ya? i did that and that was my prob which is exactly like yours. look at azzkicker's wiring diagram for the right way to wire the kit. hook the red wire into the wire coming from your arm switch. just splice it into where ever it is coming from/going to and that way when you arm the system, the window switch is armed and receiving power. that's the correct way to do it if i'm not mistaken. i switched it to that and my prob went away.

Somthing else you might wanna remember...if you use relays to turn on your solonoids, run the power source of your relays though an arming switch also. If your contact in your relay ever sticks...hang on...or turn the key off....

Actually if you wire the relay through the toggle you defeat the purpose of the relay. The whole idea is to not have a voltage draw through the car when the solenoids are activated. As for the MSD it should be powered only when the key is in the on position. You could run the power wire to a switched source. This will fix the problem. Happy Nitrousing
