There are 2 small wires sticking out from the side of the unit that form 2 little loops. You have to cut these. The reason is, the LS1 spark system is set up like that of a 4-cylinder. The signal coming from your tach feed will only work if you set up the MSD window switch in "4-cylinder" mode. Try this and it'll work just fine.

Some units have a problem w/ the 5v square wave signal supplied by the tach feed as well. Not all units seem to have a problem though, so if it seems to work okay, you should be fine. What reckless said about setting it for 4cylinder operation, too

I was talking to an MSD tech and he told me that in order for the MSD window switch to work I would have to send them the switch and have it modified to work on the 2000 LS1. To modify it they want $35.00 plus shipping . So to all the people who have the window switch installed on there car, what did you have to do to make the window switch to work??? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Michael
