2-Stage Suggestions Needed
I am planning on stepping up to a 200hp shot in my quest for 10's w/stock exhaust manifolds and cats.
I will be installing a Walbro GSS340 in-tank pump shortly and I have SVO 30# injectors and MAFT that I would prefer to not use if at all possible. If you think that this setup will support a 200hp dry shot, I may pursue the injector/MAFT route.
As an alternative, I figured I would just do a 75 dry shot off the line and go wet for the other 125. That way I would have no need for the larger injectors/MAFT and the added timing that would result from their install.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

ps-why do you think the injectors and MAFT will add timing? do you have the MAF-Translator Plus? that's the one that adds timing.

With Joe's (HackerJoe) car back in 1999 we did...
-Inline pump
-NX wet 150
-75 to 100 dry
-104 race gas
Went 10.81@124.22mph on a 1.50 with a 3700 lb raceweight.
If I were doing it again I would do:
-Intank pump
-150 wet
-75 dry
Ditch your cats. Not nitrous-friendly.
He went 11.49@116mph on a the 150 wet FWIW.

John, do you have any more details on Joe's car? Was he running headers? I'd like to get into the 10's w/cats, but if you feel they will be a major restriction, I may purchase an O/R pipe. I am not worried about killing them, since I can easily get them replaced under warranty(I work at a dealership).
It looks like the simplest route will be to install the intank pump and run the 75dry/125-150 wet setup. I think using the MAFT to lean the car out for the 30#s will add some unwanted timing.
