Nozzle pointed away from maf???

Nozzle pointed away from maf??? I have seen some people run a single nozzle into the bottom of the airbox. Some people have the nozzle pointed at the maf and others have them pointed away from the maf.
My question is, does having the nozzle pointed away from the maf make less power than if it were pointed at the maf? Has anyone done any dyno testing with this?
Im thinking it is definatly much safer with the nozzle pointed away but I dont know how much power is lost by doing it this way.

Re: Nozzle pointed away from maf??? no power will be lost, the motor take the nitrous in on its own vacuum, if you were to spray at the maf you take a chance of frying your electronic sensor, that is not good!

Re: Nozzle pointed away from maf??? It all gets sucked into the intake regardless of the orientation of the nozzles. You just don't want to have the nozzles real close to the hair-thin MAF sensor wires and blowing high pressure enough to break them loose.
