Default What can the bottom end take?

Topic says it all. Right now I have H/C/I and a TNT 100 shot making 538RWHP and 709RWTQ. My bottom end has never been touched. Can it handle anymore?? Is this too much?? Im planning on building a set up the early part of next year but I wanted to see where I stand right now.

Eek, well I don't know about torque, but most people say that 600rwhp is the absolute max. I'd say with a 150shot, you'd be on the ragged edge. personally, i'd look at upgrading the internals now. Therefore you can run, say, a 200 shot no prob.

anything over 450 rwhp is iffy with a power adder, BTW that TQ is awesome!

Pistons and rods are not gonna be happy forever with that power level or higher.

All of his motor mods are custom built at "RP Motorsports" here in Georgia. Heads are in house ported, polished, and milled. Custom cut split duration cam, and of course the LS6 intake. His car makes an *** LOAD of tq for having not-so-great flowing heads. The shop did a damn good job building that car, it runs like a ******* raped ape. 119+ traps all day long at 3600+ race weight.

Thanx for the compliments Damian

RP Motorsport did do the work on my car. Heads are as stated. Hand ported/polished and milled .030 It does ok for what it is. Cam is a custom cut nitrous application. Other than that, I have the usual bolt-ons.

Are you guys saying I could possibly spray a 150 shot on this motor and it would make it a few times?? I would love to put the 150 jets in but I thought with my compression and current power it would be too much.

Brad, if ya had caught me a day earlier I might have taken those off your hands. I had a lil Z06 clutch explosion last night that is going to set me back a few bills. Ill definately get back to you in the near future and see if you still have them.

It will last a while, I said they wont be happy forever, meaning maybe a bottle a week for 6 months to a year.
