First time to spray ??

First time to spray ?? Well tonight was the first time for me to try out my kit and when I actually sprayed I could tell the car was faster but not by much at all. I am spraying a 75 dry shot and the bottle pressure was only at 800 psi.
When I have driven cars in the past with spray the second you hit the switch the RPM's shoot up a lot faster, well they didnt shoot up faster when I ran mine tonight.
I know everything the kit is working but I saw a post where AZZKICKER said he had a bad ground and it was costing him something like 60 rwhp or so. could this be my problem or what? I thought I had it grounded out really well.

Re: First time to spray ?? Read up in about bottle pressure in ALL the nitrous sections. You'll see that most people who spray at that pressure are wasting thier n20. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Re: First time to spray ?? That's how mine was when testing it. A whopping 700psi didn't get me much on 75 jets. I'll be getting a heater soon.....

Re: First time to spray ?? I am spraying a dry shot and I have the nozzle pointed away from the maf right now. should I turn it around so that it is facing the maf? would that give more of a hit?

Re: First time to spray ?? ohhhhhh daddy well I got the plugs changed out and put the 100 shot pill in, and turned the nozzle around facing the MAF.
I put the bottle in a tub of hot water and the pressure got up to 1200 <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
went out on a test run and DAMN!!! that was too much fun <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> Im going to have to pace myself on how much I spray now.

Re: First time to spray ?? You definately want to rethink the aiming the nozzle directly through the maf. I will kill the sensor and cause a early demise of the engine. Glad to hear your nitrous experience was positive. Take a look at the Colonel's tech files they could be useful. Happy Nitrousing

Oh My God , Someone actually knows what they are talking about .... Turning the fogger towards the maf is how I leaned mine out so bad it popped a head gasket and fried the maf sensor. Also the farther away from the combustion chamber the better the hit cuz it atomises(?spelling?) better . <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
