Just a note to all that I had a frustrating experience with MSD in getting a switch back from them to "re-calibrate" it for the LS1 engine. After 3 months of waiting to get it and driving with my eyes glued to the tach w/ N20 on (have no idea what speeds I am at), I started calling around to find out if anyone offered the switch with "re-calibration" completed for install. Well, I talked to my favorite supplier, Tom @ Speed.com, and he informed me that the modification "re-calibration" can be done by simply cutting the two small wire loops(blue and red) on the switch and connect the white wire to pin # 10 on the PCM closest to the front of the car. Well, I purchased a new switch from my installer did the mod....It F%#!ing works great! MSD was charging me $30 to do this very complicated "re-calibration". Just thank GOD my installer is going to go back to MSD to retrieve the first switch....I don't know if I would be real nice. I don't like people who knowingly screw the buying public.
This is pretty long, but thought I would try to keep anyone else from going thru this. I do recommend the switch, but tell them to f#%k off, when they tell you have to have it "RE-CALIBRATED" and btw we may get it to you in 6 months . Tell all your LS1 buds.
