Default Help me! TNT power ring

Does anybody have a good way to get the tnt power ring OFF? I know some people have had fitment problems, but mine went on good and snug by just tapping it with a rubber mallet. I'm taking it off to sell it and go into the topend of the motor.

Thanks for any help.

Pull the throttle body off of the car. Use the handle of a hammer, the wooden part and place it against the power ring. Hit the head of the hammer with a hammer and it should come off. The wooden handle is to keep from damaging the ring.

Sounds good. Is the tb gasket re-usable?
Thanks

You can use the TB gasket over and over, no problems.

Mine fits pretty snug as well, but I can still get it off by grasping the two nozzles on either side and wiggling it back and forth till it pulls off.

Well I got it off. I took the tb off. Mine was tighter than you guys have said yours was. I would have broken the nozzles doing that. I had to take a bock of wood and hammer after it for like 20 minutes after i got the tb off last night. I cracked the damn fuel pressure etst port taking off my fpss also <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
