I have a 99' A4 Trans Am. The only present mods are an intake lide, ported t/b, ported maf, free mods, and a cutout. I'm about to get some of the hooker long tube headers and do the true dual exhaust. After that I am getting nitrous. I am virgin to this stuff so which would be a good brand, wet or dry, which shot... So that I can use it safely and not damage anything...

start off with with either the tnt f1 or the nos 5177 with the lowest jets, get a window switch, heater, and ATAP...i wouldn't go wet becuase if a nitrous noid sticks open..BOOM...plus the dry is a simpler installation. dont go over 100 shot on your 99 fuel system.

i had the TNT wet kit. if done correctly and the system is taken care of, it's no more failure prone than a dry kit. anyways, with a lid, exhaust, converter, and a TNT wet 100 shot, i went 11.5's. i like it and i didnt have to worry about upgrading fuel injectors if i ran a bigger shot. although if i wanted to go bigger with the wet shot i'd have to do a fuel pump

I went with the wet TNT kit. Seemed like the most complete one available for a basic kit and I liked the PURPLE ring

I've got a complete tnt kit for sale here in houston. Check the texas section or email me.
BTW, the guy talking about a wet kit killing the motor if the N20 selenoid stays stuck open is a little off. What are you going to do if it sticks on a dry kit? Stay int he throttle and top the car out till the bottle goes empty? You could always wire up a second selenoid for fault tolerance. Both would have to fail to be screwed over. Also, usually when a noid stick open at random say at idle it will dump so much n20 in there it will kill the motor. Just let it sit untill it's all cleared out.

4mulajoe beat me to my BS flag, ive run a 200 wet kit scince ive had my car and the hardest part is getting it optimized, by that i mean the "real"200hp output, when we get that high on jetting its matter of what works best with your combo, try the "recomended" jetting and go from there. wet is good cuz of the fuel issue, dry need a bigger pump (imo)but have fun and to answer your ???s im bias and say NXwet kit, but the TNT WET seems to be kicking azz too. well theres mt .02.
