Fuel System for big power
I am currently having a big motor built my ARE and was wondering how I should go about the fuel system. The motor is going to be a 427 built for nitrous. ARE says they use stock feed line with their twin intank setup, will that feed enough fuel for over 700 RWHP? Could I use the TNT 150 shot off the fuel rail with that setup? Also, what size injectors do I need for the big engine? Or should I ditch the whole intank setup and go with the aeromotive pump and 10 AN line system?
Well, I know taht perosnally once I get my big cube motor built, I will be going to a whole different setup (I'm running what now what you were talking about). I plan on having a seperate fuel cell in the back T-top well which will hold 5-6 gallons of 116 unleaded. My wet setup will pull directly from this tank using it's own pump and fuel lines. The motor will continue to run from the regular tank. This way, I can run the 116 to help prevent detanation while on the bottle, but the motor will draw 93 all the time.
Hope that made sense. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
