Interested in Nitrous, need some opinons
WOuld a 125shot be rough on my stock motor or just rough on the clutch and stock rear ?
Who makes the best kit for LS1's ?
Finally, do you think I'm better off to wait about N20 until I change rear ends ?
TIA

With a wet shot, you could go up to about 150 additional HP with the stock fuel system.
You'd certainly need to upgrade the clutch to something a bit stronger.
TNT seems to be the best kit out right now.
Lots of people have it and LOVE it.
You could also opt for their dry kit and spray a 100-125 shot. Again, you'd need a clutch.
The rear will most likely hold as long as you arent spraying out of the hole on an ET Street.
If you were on a Nitto, it should be fine.

Thanks for the help guys, I definetly want to go the giggle gas route, just dont want to blow my motor prematurely . Some people tell me nitrous kills engines and some tell me with a proper tune they really don't hurt them much if any at all. But I got a lot of other things to get done first, now if I could just find that darn money tree....lol <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
if you know what you are doing, and follow instructions, and run a window switch, especially on your 6speed, you should be good. i got a friend with a '99 6 speed running 11.8's on a NOS 125 shot and stock everything else except clutch and the e.t. streets, and he's run over 30 bottles through it. he runs a progressive controller too. i've run a couple of bottles through my motor and all is well. i have a tnt wet kit. AWESOME KIT!!!
