nitrous controllers......
Chris
edit-also, by using one of these, does it put excess wear on the solenoids, and is there anything you can do to eliminate this?

I would use the NOS. Its proven. start at a % of total and dial in how long it takes to get to 100%. easy

My friend just got one of the "newer" controllers from TNT. Its just like the NOS one above.

How much wear do they put on the noids?
Any problem using this with a wet setup?
<strong>I have been checking these systems out -- just bought the TNT set-up. Nitrous warehouse has the "Fred" and the "Freddie" - believe the prices were about $330 and $450. Of course they are going to promo their equipment but looks great. I'll have to wait, to damn much money spent already this winter.

I called Nitrous warehouse and asked about these prices and John literally laughed in my ear. He's saying $499 for the maximizer (FRED) and $399 for the minimax (FREDDY). The minimax is like a progressive controller and that's it, but the maximizer is more adjustable.
I'm debating whether or not I should just build one myself. The only thing that is holding me back is I don't know what the pulsing waveforms look like (frequency and duty cycles). I don't have time to do my own R&D. Does anyone have this information?
