Default Biggest Shot On Stock Long Block

Whats the biggest shot you've heard/seen someone run through a stock long/short block? Did is last?

I've run a single stage .103 jet through a plate. That's about 300-325ish and yes it lives. We plan to spray that and more if needed this year split up in 2 stages

That's the most I've ever heard any body run

Nope, not then. Get the tuneup right and the heads stay on. We have studs on it now since we changed the heads

Yikes. That's a pretty healthy hit. That's a solid 1:1 ratio of stock power-to-additional power from N20.

If you don't mind my asking, how many runs have you made on the car with the .103 jet?

I sprayed a 300 shot on my stock ls3 long block for over 2 years, 2 stages through a 2 stage plate. Never had any issues and it never let go. I wanted more power so I went with a stroker and heads,cam etc

With the right tune,fuel and plugs it will last.

ummm off the top of my head we made about 10 passes on the .103, 10 on the .099 and probably 15-20 on the .093, that was all this past season. We will probably make about 50-60 passes this season on 250 or up I'm sure once I get the small tuneup correct after all the changes this winter. Its a whole different ball game getting 2 stages to run clean and safe

I run a .093 jet through a 78mm plate on my ls6 intake. Made probably 7-8 passes at 300rwhp, multiple 250, 200, 150 etc... Cold plug, high octane and low timing rules!

I commented on your signature before (maybe cause I said it? lol..) Now do you see where i was coming from? I have a .099 jet just waiting to go in the plate!!! Then comes the 110!!!!!! 346ci = 350 shot or your not doing the motor any justice
