Default plug? ??

I use to run 12.0 on motor and since I hook the nitrous up and change plugs to br7ef gap 33. I run 12.4 or 12.5 on motor and 11.1 on spray 150 shot. Is the plugs too cold for n/a? Or my tune bad? Don't know nothing about tuning. I have a timing tuner for the nitrous.

your tuner took some timing out of your tune for the nitrous, the number 7 plug is a good choice. Switching to that plug should not rob any power at all, its more so the timing that has been pulled for the 150 shot.

He didn't get a tune guy to pull the timing out. He has the timing tuner box, its just like the LNC 2000.

OP, did you try switching the plugs back and see if it will run a 12.0 again? If it does, then you know its the plugs.

i guess i misread the post, a number 7 should still not lose any power but maybe 5 or so.

That's relative to engine combo. Some lose more some lose less.

Changing to a br7ef I didnt loose anything noticable. Pulling 8 degrees was good for .15-.2

If that is total timing for a 150 shot thats probably not a good starting point.

I have a timing tuner. I take out 5 degrees when spraying. 25 total is engine timing.

The motor wants what it wants the only way is to verify if the plug is telling you the motors happy, I tuned a buddys car with full boltons and a 150 shot with 7 plugs and ended up with 26 degrees total on the kit but its what the motor wanted 25 doesnt sound out in left field

But dont just start at 25 always pull more than you think you should and you can work your way up, every combo is different, but if you want help reading plugs there are plenty of us here that can help to get you were you need to go.

You have to run same day same track to compare times.
make a pass with the 7's and another with what ever motor plugs you were using and I bet there is not much difference.
