Default Safe Shot

Whats a good, safe shot to run with my TNT (wet) kit on my 2000? I have stock injectors but plan to upgrade soon, which by the way whats a good size to upgrade to and what brand? The same with a fuel pump.

I do a 100 NX wet shot all the time with no problem. TNT states rear wheel HP for there product, while NX states Fly Wheel HP. So I think you caould do a 75 to a 100 TNT HP shot NO PROBLEM. I have always read if we do a 150 we would be at the edge of our fuel system but this is talking a NX system. Shoot an Email to TNT they will reply and lead you right.

You won't need injectors for a wet kit.The safest shot is 75 (of course)
.Then 100 shot is the max until you do a fuel pump upgrade.
People have run 150 shot without a pump.

Terry.. Didnt know you had a TNT kit there (advantage me). To answer your questions, the "safe shot" to run would be a 75 on your car the way its set-up right now.
When you go with your "big plans" in march, i would upgrade to some SVO injectors, either 36 or 42lb (i would go with 42lb just cause i like bigger).
As for the fuel pump....a simple Walbro 350 will suit you fine, but for the overkill you could check out what Aeromotive has to offer (alot of there stuff is good for at least 1000hp).
Once you upgrade your fuel system, your car can handle the larger shot.

You don't have to have a fuel pump upgrade to run a 150 shot. But you'll need a new clutch and rear and tires...... <img src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" border="0" alt="[barf]" /> <img src="graemlins/camaro.gif" border="0" alt="[Chevrolet]" />

He has an A4, so he doesnt have to worry about a clutch or rear-end right now, but tires might be a different story.

if it is a WET kit then you can run a 200 with out a fuel pump or injectors , will the engine hold, i dont know, mine does. the fuel systems are good to run a decent size wet kit, dry is a diffrent story, im not saying a 200 is safe for you ,im saying your fuel system can take it.

since you put the word SAFE in there...id just do a 100. add a pump and jet to 150. injector size doesnt matter. the TNT make so much power...i dont see the NEED to go to 200 since at that level **** breaks real easy...ask Grinch...his motor isnt stock. it did hold...just not for long i guess. strange he didnt mention it.

Terry,
I would get some injectors and a fuel pump for safety issues. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
