I'm getting ready to hook up a throw together 5177 kit on a 01 FBody, now the Q is how much can I hit it with, I've only sprayed LT1's and 98's b4 and I know they changed up the injector sizes. I would like to hit it with a 150 shot, BUT I don't feel like killing this dudes car, so what shot can I hit this thing with and what would those pill #'s be, (I am going to do the 2 nozzle and pill setup like the 5177 is supposed to be)
BTW the car is a A4 with a 3500 yank converter, and is currently running very consistant 12.20's @ 109ish, where may this put us assuming we can hit it out of the hole???

I have an 01 as well, i had 125 jets in my car and it ran like crap, i was recently at an event at bradenton for the Vette, Viper, F-body shootout, and ran the the 125 thinking i would be low 11s since what i can do on motor, but i was wrong when i threw high gear the car didn't feel good at all, like it wasn't spraying, and it went a measly 11.75 at 117 mph, i was disappointed, so i thought the car was leaning out so i put in the 85 jets, i lost the 100s, and WOW i went an 11.41 and then a 11.42 at 120mph, all that from dejetting, so i bought an inline pump to hopefully be able to spray the 125 again.

I sprayed my 01 last november when I bought it. I ran a 125 dry shot on the car for several months. I had mac headers and ory, lid, cutout, and free mods. Best 1/8th mile ET was 7.19@96 on stock internals and convertor. The 01-02's love spray alot more than older LS1's imo. <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

I had the same problem the car didnt feel as smooth as my 100 shot and a slight vibration from the engine? Not sure if its the injectors or what?

If it were me..I would go to a dyno with a wide band o2. Cant be careful enough when testing a newly setup nitrous kit...even if its a dry kit. Start with the 100 shot pills and go up while checking AF. Preferably tuning with a MAF translator. I think you could put the 150 shot pills in. I doubt youll see a 150 hp gain. I never saw more than 120 hp when using the powershot noids in series with the 5177 kit. And that was on a mild heads and cam car running pills that should have been a 175 shot.
With just a bolt on 2001 car you should not run out of fuel with a 5177 kit setup with the two powershot noids in series. Even still...I would test on a dyno.
