Bottle psi
Bottle psi Just had my bottle filled yesterday and after hookin it up in my car I cracked open the valve and the gauge only went to 600 PSI FULL ? Is it becasuse it is cold outside or I got dupped at a half *** fill station. What should the bottle weight be at 21-23 pounds ?
just a little input.. I have been filling bottles for 22 years. the only way to know how much you have in a bottle is to weight it. I can make 2lbs in a bottle read 1000psi on a guage but there is only two pounds in it. just fyi.

Another FYI.
If you buy N2O, I would get a basic digital bathroom scale and bring it with you!!
I fill my own, but I always checked the bottles before paying in the old days.
I don't trust anyone, and you never know if they have some clueless new guy working at your supplier??

That's what I use to weigh mine after I get home from the track, but I am going to start taking it with me.
It's a Homedic for anyone looking for one to buy to use for the same purpose.

For $10 you can't go wrong, and for what some of these places charge,
1-2 lbs per bottle adds up fast!!!
I weigh my bottles after every pass, it's part of my data I track.
