Who all is running a direct port setup?

Who all is running a direct port setup? Ok, I have decided to go direct port, and I am currently leaning towards a TNT kit. I wanted to hear from all those out there running a direct port setup on their LS1, and what they think of it. Any difference between a 150 wet vs a 150 direct port? Consistency? hit harder? Gimmie the goods <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: Who all is running a direct port setup? Not an 5.7l LS1 but a 5.3l LM7.

My main concerns were flowing 200 HP wet through the manifold (especially with the longer runners of the truck.)
I should have some hard numbers (dyno/ET) once the Stage II heads come back from Valley head service.

Re: Who all is running a direct port setup? If he has time Silver LS1 had run one. He has been very busy lately but he might have time to chim in. Do a search in the Drag Race section to see his information he holds the record for the most dumped into a stock motor. 300 HP two stage system.

For 150, biggest difference will be cost. Beyond 150 I'd get concerned about flowing that much fuel through the manifold, so DP would be the only option. One advantage is the ability to tune the individual cylinders if you want and you also lose the distribution problems associated with flowing the mixture through the manifold.

Re: Who all is running a direct port setup? 150 is fine through the manifold. 200 is a different story. for a 200 i would definately go DP. still cost a BUNDLE though (like 1700+). now, as far as which one...id go with the NX. I LOVE TNT, but the NX system is SO much cleaner with those rails. also, remember, that DP systems require a low pressure fuel system to run levels below say 300 or 350. and i dont believe that Dave had a DP. i thought it was just a NOS dry (cheater noid) and TNT F2. both jetted real big.

I will be at Tristate Saturday. I won't be running the Juice the first time out,I want to get some N/A runs to get a feel for the new set up. I will have to back off the timing and get some good race gas before I spray it. The weather has got me behind in some testing.
