Default fuel pressure idea good or bad?

I have a normally open solenoid for fuel it has a 3/64 orifce. If I install this solenoid on the bypass line at the rear of the car hooked it to a 55 psi pressure switch so that if the fuel pressure dropped it would close off the bypass. What do you think or know will this prevent a lean condition? Is the 3/64 orfice too small? let me know. Two stage nx kit on order just waiting.

I really dont know how well that would work or if it would work at all. It would be interesting to see how it would effect pressure under high flow conditions. Basically to see how much range of control the stock regualtor has since you would be completely cutting off return.
If your worried about going lean on your two stage setup...why not just get a good fuel setup. A walbro intank 255 lph or the Racetronix dual intank pump if you going to spray a very large shot. If your going with a serious setup like the NX dual stage you should have a serious fuel set up to match. Dont skimp in this area.
