Default TNT F1 question

I'm considering getting a FAST 102 intake/TB for my T/A. When I bought the car, it already had a TNT F1 wet kit installed. Now that I'm looking into getting the larger TB, I realize that the ring which holds the nozzles was only built for the stock 78mm TB.

What are my options in getting a larger ring? I know there are 90mm rings floating around, but seem kinda rare to come by. Is a 102mm ring something that I'd have to have custom made?

I'd look into a plate conversion kit from nitrous outlet or nx and dump the ring.

Maybe you can mount them in a piece of aluminum in front of your new TB. Drill and tap for the nozzles like GMHTP did.

Hmm...This sounds like a pretty good idea. I haven't looked at a GMHTP in quite a while though. Do you know where I could find this article? or maybe even just a picture?

If I did go with a plate conversion kit, is this the kit I would need?

If you still have the mass air meter we have a bracket that bolts to it and holds the solenoids. Then you would just need nozzle adapters to lock the nozzles onto the air bellow. I set up a dual nozzle car like this years ago and it looked really clean.

If you decided to go with a plate this is the one you need.

You would also need to convert your solenoid fittings to straight fittings and convert the nitrous hose from the nitrous solenoid to the plate to our race hose.

Thanks for your help guys, I think I'm going to try to create something with some spare aluminum fittings I have laying around.

Junkie, give me a shout if you find yourself up in the Raleigh area. I'd like to see that silver car sometime!

Ehh I don't ever take it on long drives more than 15-20 miles just because it's so loud and the local cops love the car and always talk to me, but I'm sure any others wouldn't be so understanding.
