Default Saw the Noszle kit up close today

I was at the Gatornationals in Gaineseville and stopped by the Holley booth. they had the new Noszle universal kit out for display. Very slick! The tech rep for Nos said the atomizing properties of the new nozzle gives the same HP with 15% less nitrous. Not sure how true that is but from the looks of it I would not bet against it. The construction of the actual nozzle itself is very high quality. I have a few Nos brand standard nozzles laying around here and they are somewhat crude. The new stuff looks like aerospace quality in design and construction. I paid close attention to the black nitrous lines that feed the nozzles. Very small indeed. I at first mistook it for black wire..thats how small it is. I asked what psi the line was rated for....he said more than 1500 psi. The rest of the components are all standard fare Nos.

Price was $1500

Individual noszles were $75

For those of us that have solinoids and bottle already you may be able to duplicate the kit for a bit less. Maybe $900 or so. I am thinking real hard about this setup along with a progerssive controller. Woohooo direct port 300 shot/

I am still curious on fuek atomization when the car is NOT running WOT and w/o N2O. I love the set up but personally i think the car will run like crap since the injector is recessed and the fuel won't actually spray but more like "drip" into the cylinders for cumbustion. Does anyone else feel this way or am i the lone ranger that has no idea what he is talking about?

No Eddie...I hear ya. I asked the rep that....he actaully told me it increaed the NA hp...lol. Man is he a good rep or what
Anyways...I would love to see some NA dyno #s before I buy it. But for what its worth..I really dont think it will affest NA performance. The spray pattern of an injector is fairly tight and the hole in the Noszle is quite large around.

Actually AZ Speed-Marine makes injector spacers and claims 1/4" spacers are good for some gains: ASM
