A glide might be in the future if the car doesn't run like I want, but I kinda wanna keep it streetable. I know it is 100% race car, but still does have tags and can be driven to the track.

If a good shop built the 80 you'll be fine. It's just a tank of a transmission. It's the same gearing as a th400, just has an overdrive planetary on the front half of it. Is your trans a center lube or front lube?

Not sure, is there a way to tell without asking the guy who built the transmission?

Are the trans cooler lines above one another in the front of the trans, like a normal 4l60e? Or is one in the middle of the case, and one in the front?
If it's in an Fbody I'm sure it's a front lube.

I had the same setup in my ss, built 4l80 and locked my converter up in second gear and never once had an issue with it, I also ran 4:10 gears with a 30 inch tall dr. only difference was mine was a 402 with a hydrolic roller

The line come out like a normal 4L60, so I am guessing that makes it a front lube?

on 250 worth I went 9.22 at 148 with a 1.28 60 ft. on 450 worth of gas i went 5.6 at 127 in the 1/8 but never ran the car out the back door, 5.6's should be good for 8.6's or 8.70's i would think, the car was heavy though, if i recall 3,500 with me in it.

here is that 9.2 pass

Nice pass. I think my goal of 8's are def possible seeing that. My car will be around 3000 race weight and I am running a second stage. Thank you for the video and input.

Ok, I am getting very close to coming home and running my car. Running 250 out of the hole and 200 on the second stage, what plugs do you think I should be running, 10's? Also, do you think c16 will be good? Thank you.
